X-ray center
We were the first in Europe to introduce the latest X-ray diagnostic technology associated with the Cerec Omnicam, which provides 3D (CT) radiological images with the lowest dose of radiation for the patient, and enables computer-guided dentistry. GALILEOS Comfort is a dental CT device of the latest generation, which has set a new standard in radiological diagnostics thanks to a series of patented solutions that result in improved image quality while reducing the radiation dose. In practice, this means the possibility of three-dimensional imaging of all dental and ENT indications in high resolution. In addition to all standard diagnostic imaging programs that include cephalometric images, GALILEOS Comfort is also equipped with an advanced program for computer-guided implantology, which was declared the best in its category.
Retroalveolar recording
Snapshot of an individual tooth
Photograph of the paranasal sinuses
An image of the paranasal sinuses includes the sinuses and surrounding structures. They can be recorded in several different projections, while the classic Posterio-Anterior recording is done as standard. Such procedures are very important in the event that it is necessary to intervene on the sinuses during implant placement, for example.
Images of Joints (TMJ)
Panoramic shot
A panoramic image (orthopantomogram) is an x-ray of the maxillofacial region showing the upper and lower jaw with all teeth, both jaw joints and the associated sinuses. Such recordings are of great use to us in order to establish the most accurate diagnosis and have the most accurate picture when performing the procedure.
Cephalometric recording
Most often used for orthodontic diagnostics, the images allow monitoring of the process during the placement of braces.
3D CT
3D CT is a state-of-the-art diagnostic method that greatly facilitates our work and enables safe diagnosis and precise planning of therapy for our patients. 2D images, due to overlapping complex anatomical structures, are more challenging to interpret. When measuring, we always use a dose of safety to compensate for the magnification caused by the recording technique itself, and we have no information about the width (thickness) and exact spatial position.
3D CT ensures always successful high-resolution images with its highly efficient exposures. With the help of 3D imaging, an accurate visualization of dental structures is obtained in their actual representation. It is possible to display axial, sagittal, coronal and customized incisions, every oral surgical and especially implantological procedure is carefully planned using this type of diagnostics.
Every detail can be measured very precisely from any projection or viewing angle, which was not possible with earlier 2D images, because 2D images are a "frozen" view from only one angle.
This device can even measure bone density, thus helping a lot in diagnosis, especially if you have periodontal disease, cysts, are planning implants, etc.
WHY 3D?
One of the better examples of why 3D recording technology is much better and more reliable than the usual 2D technology. In the above example, the 3D imaging technologies are only used, it could be seen that the implant was placed incorrectly.
